If you are writing about something going wrong, it helps enormously to include your device identifier. Find it in the app under Profile, then About, then Device ID. It is an anonymous string that lets us find the request in our logs, and it tells us nothing about you.
Open Profile, then Subscription, then Restore purchases. Verdict has no accounts, so your subscription lives with your Apple or Google account rather than with a login. Restoring re-reads it from the store.
You must be signed into the same store account you bought with. Purchases made on iOS cannot be restored on Android, or the other way round, because the two stores do not share receipts.
In your app store account settings, not in Verdict. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store, profile icon, Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Tap the product in My Stack and edit it. You can correct the name, the ingredients and the doses, and re-run the analysis. Panels printed on curved bottles, on foil, or in very small type are the usual culprits. Filling the frame with just the supplement facts panel and keeping it flat gives the best read.
Verdict compares against United Kingdom reference intakes, using NRV figures and EVM upper levels. Labels in the United States use Daily Values, which are different figures for several nutrients, so the percentages will not line up. Neither is wrong, they are different standards.
Daily totals also count supplements only. Food and fortified products add to the same numbers, so your real intake is higher than the app can see.
Your stack and history are stored only on your device and are never uploaded, which is why Verdict needs no account and holds nothing about you. The trade is that we cannot recover them. Your subscription does transfer, through Restore purchases above.
Deleting the app removes everything held on your device, which is nearly all of it. If you also want the usage counters held against your anonymous identifier removed, send that identifier to the address above and we will delete the row. See the privacy policy for what is and is not stored.
No. Verdict describes published research on dosing and evidence. It does not know your medical history or your medication, and some supplements interact with prescription medicines. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping anything.
